CrossLink Board Update

The ministry of Dan Woodkey has impacted many lives from Yakima to Mexico and Venezuela.

Dan will be sorely missed by everyone here at CrossLink, as well as by those at his home church, New Life Bible Church in Yakima, and by many other ministries and churches throughout the Yakima Valley.

Dan and his wife Brenda felt deeply privileged to be part of establishing CrossLink’s first Hispanic church plant – New Life Bible Church / Iglesía Bíblica Vida Nueva in Yakima, WA.

Dan helped found New Life Hispanic Ministries, which later became known as CrossLink. Dan served as a Board Member from the beginning. We will miss his wisdom and his ministry experience from a life that he spent loving Jesus and loving people.

Dan’s memorial service will be at West Side Church located 6901 Summitview Ave, Yakima, WA on Friday, March 11th at 2:00 PM.

Hernandez Sabbatical starting March 7, 2022

Pastor Misael will be on unpaid leave from CrossLink starting March 7, 2022 and last until his religious visa application is reviewed and approved by USCIS. We expect a full approval by the end of March.

During this month or so, Pastor Misael plans to turn this leave into a sabbatical to physically and spiritually rest, vacation, visit friends, and participate in activities not related to employment at New Life Bible Church or other CrossLink ministries. In lieu of Misael’s sabbatical, the elders at New Life Bible Church have worked out a schedule of volunteers for the next 12 weeks of preaching, as well as many other church activities.

God is good and is here working in every circumstance. We encourage you to let Pastor Misael and his wife Taira know that you are praying for them and the ministry at New Life Bible Church during this unexpected season of waiting. If you have any specific questions, please let us know.

Thank you from everyone at CrossLink!
