José Contreras and his wife, Heather, live in Yakima where José works as an elementary school teacher and owns Splash Monkey – a water balloon filling business. José and Heather have served in ministry together for the past 6 years as youth leaders at their church and have served on short term missions and outreach events both in Latin America and locally. José grew up in Yakima, where as a youth, he was involved in ministry at Iglesia Biblica Vida Nueva – CrossLink’s first established church plant.
Darrell Clow

Darrell and his wife Peggy have lived a life of ministry with over
30 years of experience in church and children’s ministries. Darrell has served on the mission committee at his church and that experience prepared him to lead short-term mission trips to Haiti, as well as Faith Acres in McHenry, IL.
Darrell has been a long-time volunteer with CrossLink. Over the last 20 years, Darrel and Peggy have been to Venezuela numerous times as short-term missionaries working with some of CrossLink’s church partners and doing ministry training for a children’s program called AWANA.
Elias Garcia

Before joining CrossLink’s board in 2013, Elias and his wife, Arelis, served as CrossLink’s missionaries to the Yakima Valley where they directed church planting efforts in Yakima, Tieton, and the Lower Valley, as well as developed and coordinated the vision of ministry that God had given Elias and his family for the Spanish speakers in the Pacific Northwest, Mexico, and Venezuela. Elias is currently working as an Outreach Pastor at Westside Church, a place where God has taken Elias’ love and vision for Spanish speakers and expanded that love and vision to include everyone, regardless of language.
David Holland

For the last 40 years, David has worked with outreach ministries and served in churches as a pastor, elder, Bible teacher, and on missions committees. David’s interest in Hispanic ministry began with a mission trip to Venezuela several years ago, and since that time, he has made several mission trips to Venezuela, Mexico, and Peru and become involved with local ministry opportunities to reach Hispanics.

Al currently serves as CrossLink’s chairman of the board. Al and his wife, Judy, have lived in and around the Yakima Valley for over 35 years and have spent over 40 years working and managing businesses. Al has served in various ministry roles wherever he’s lived, including a Bible teacher, AWANA leader, missions team member, and short-term missionary to Venezuela.

Originally from Jalisco, Mexico, Nate’s love for Jesus and people brought him and his wife, LaSarah, to Yakima.
Robert Suarez

Originally from Monterey, Mexico, Robert grew up spending March to November in Washington State and December to February in Mexico until the 10th grade. Robert finished high school in Othello and obtained an Accounting degree from Central Washington University. Robert has worked as a financial auditor and controller for over 25 years. He has served on two missions trips to Venezuela.
