Yakima Ministry
Volunteer pastors and church leaders continue to help New Life Bible Church in Yakima with preaching on Sundays while Pastor Misael cannot legally work as a Pastor until his religious visa is renewed by U.S. Immigration. Continue to pray for the church members and elders who are leading Bible studies, counseling, and teaching during this period of waiting.

We reached out to our local Congressman to review Misael’s religious visa renewal because of a congressional policy glitch that requires two identical homeland security site visits to the church. While waiting to work again, Pastor Misael has been attending a Bible school and a community college. Through these classes, Misael has developed new friendships and connections with other Hispanic church leaders, as well as relationships with students and their families in the area.
God is always at work and we see His goodness in so many ways.
One small way many of you made a difference was by donating to New Life Bible Church in honor of Dan Woodkey, a CrossLink Board Member and Elder at New Life. Before Dan became ill, he had started many cost-saving projects on the aging church building – including replacing the windows. With your donations, the church was able to finish Dan’s last project and the new windows are a constant reminder of his love for Jesus and his service to others.
Thank you!
