Tieton Ministry Update

Iglesia Biblica Sinai in Tieton, WA had a special Night of Gratitude in September where the congregation and visiting CrossLink Board members shared stories of how God has worked in the life of the church over the years.

A special thank you was given to Sinai’s former pastor, Juan Aguilar and his wife Dina, who have been visiting with families in Tieton this past year. One family shared how one cup of coffee with the Aguilars turned into a life of following Jesus. One theme from the night was how seeing acts of love by believers often resonated deeper than simply hearing someone say, “God is love.”

During the next 6 months, Juan and Dina plan to travel to Texas to visit their new grandchild and then stay in El Salvador until next March. Pray for the Aguilars during their time of travel and time with family.

Jesse Mooney has been serving as interim pastor at Sinai Bible Church over the summer and plans to continue ministering through the rest of the year. Both Jesse and his wife Zuri are bilingual and have been warmly received by Iglesia Biblica Sinai in Tieton, WA.

Jesse lives in the Yakima area, but grew up in Sequim, WA and attended Bible College in Mexico where he met his wife. Pray for Jesse and Zuri Mooney as God continues to lead them in ministry.
