More Prayer and More Waiting this Season

Join the CrossLink community in praying and waiting for answers. We expect God to provide and to work through the ministries of CrossLink to reach the world with the good news of Jesus! Here is our current list of ministry needs that we need you to join with us in praying about:

  • Mexico Health Fair: We expect to hear in early November if the local government in Central Mexico will approve a request to allow the Health Fair to happen. In the past, volunteers from churches in Mexico and the U.S. have joined together to provide health care, dental care, and spiritual care to small villages and neighborhoods in Central Mexico. Many times, this is the first interaction people have with Christian communities that love Jesus and love people.
  • Missionary Religious Visas: We continue to wait for the Hernandez family visas to process. We were told that other missionaries in the Yakima area recently received a site visit after a long wait, so we are hopeful that we might be next. Another positive sign is that immigration requested more information about Misael and Taira’s daughter, Vasti. Pray that the information we are sending to the immigration officials for Vasti is sufficient to process her visa to stay with her family.
  • CrossLink Board: CrossLink is currently looking for additional board members who have an open heart and calling for Hispanic ministry.
  • Fellowship and Connecting: Our missionaries, Pastor Misael in Yakima and Pastor Juan in Tieton, both need opportunities to connect with supporters and churches in the area. We had hoped our fundraising event followed by a Coffee Social would provide such an opportunity for people to fellowship and connect with local missionaries, but the pandemic has a way of changing the best laid plans. Instead of a large social event, we have several bilingual CrossLink board members who have offered to host small dinner gatherings with CrossLink missionaries for anyone interested in having an interactive conversation about Hispanic ministry and church planting. If you are interested in joining a CrossLink dinner gathering, please contact CrossLink for more information.
