Prayer
When you are considering multicultural or cross cultural ministry as an individual or a church, start with prayer. Continue steadfastly in prayer. Keep praying! Seriously, don’t stop praying about it!
In Colossians 4:2-6, Paul reminds his audience to pay attention to what you are praying about so that you can recognize the outcome of prayer and give thanks when those prayers are answered. Pray for people you know who are already involved in the relational work of the gospel. Pray for God to open doors for His Word to be shared and for people to share it. Wisely. Graciously. Full of truth. Across language barriers, ethnic differences, and economic statuses. Pray for any mystery about the love of Christ to be made clear and transparent. And continue to pray!
