March 2023 Ministry Update
Venezuela Ministries Assistance
The photos in this ministry update are Venezuelan pastors and missionaries who have bought basic food supplies using funds from CrossLink in February 2023. Every month, CrossLink supports Venezuela ministry partners with the RAVENZ program – a program the Venezuelan churches named after a story in I Kings 17 in which God directed a prophet named Elijah to remain in a land that was experiencing severe drought. CrossLink supports our Venezuelan church partners with the RAVENZ program and also with the Arepitas de Amor program. Arepitas de Amor (Bread snacks of love) is a program that 10 Trujillo area churches created to help coordinate feeding school children and families in their local communities, as well as hospital patients and other members of their community who struggle with food insecurity.
New CrossLink Missionary: Shawn Gutierrez
Shawn Gutierrez, a new CrossLink Missionary, has been called to step out in faith and pastor people who desperately need to know that they are loved, and that God has a purpose for their lives. Shawn’s relationship with Jesus, his love for people, and his experience give him a unique gift and opportunity to minister to the individuals in the Celebrate Recovery program by building relationships, studying scripture, discipling, counseling, and mentoring. Shawn has currently raised about 18% of his monthly support and needs more donors.
If you would like to support the Gutierrez family and their ministry in Yakima or if you would like to receive their missionary letter with more information, please contact admin@CrossLink.info.
